I wore my shirt around campus for one day, and I don't think anyone really cared. One of my friends called me a douchebag because so many people still didn't have jobs, but he was pretty much just joking with me. I also don't think most people at my undergrad care unless it's Harvard, Yale, or Columbia.

The only UVA Law shirt I have is the one they gave us at ASD, which just says "Virginia Law". I wore it to the gym a few times before graduation, and people thought it was strange cuz they didn't get that it was referring to the law school...people told me that they thought I was literally promoting "Virginia law", as in the Code of Virginia. I felt kind of silly, haha

LOL! Ahh yes, the ever-great Law of the Commonwealth.

This discussion inspired me to check out the NTC website. For residents of Ivy Gardens they have two HD channels available: PBS and NBC. I realize 1L you're supposed to be studying and not watching the tube, but gahhhhh...

With NTC, do you need to call and set up an appointment for them to come install internet or do they have everything in place and just activate it when you tell them? Also, is it wireless or do I need to plug into the wall? Thanks.

that was a ball on that 3-0 pitch, but the ump didn't want to end the game that way. next pitch- double play.

Well in fairness that ump sucked at outside pitches all game so that was hardly the awful call that usually finds its way into a game like this.

Shane Halley not getting to 3rd base on that check swing hit and then standing frozen on 2nd on Proscia's hit up the middle were the biggest blame recipients in my book. Learn to run the damn bases.

oh yeah, that was terrible baserunning both times. i'm not sure what he was thinking.

two positives:
(1) UVA was probably not gonna beat LSU twice anyways
(2) UVA has a very young team and they should only get better next year and beyond

This is funny to me because I had a terrible time getting dressed for work this morning (business attire, although suits are not required). Then, on my way to work I saw this happy looking guy walking to work (assuming work since he was carrying his lunch and briefcase) in nice jeans and a nice shirt. I had an overwhelming sense of doom come over me when I realized that as an attorney I will most likely have to wear a suit of some sort to work every day.

I'm a female but I am most certainly not excited about suits - no matter how high quality. Am I alone in my jean envy? Please tell me I will not be the only person going to class everyday in jeans & chacos (fyi, the most comfy, functional sandals).

Most law firms claim to be business casual except on days when you need a suit to go to court or for a big meeting or something like that.
