Did anyone send in their last deposit yet?
i sent my last deposit last Friday, and already started filling out all those forms. fortunately i went to Cornell for UG, so no need to dig up my immunization records. hopefully i'll get the same netID, too!

I think all Cornell alums will keep the same netIDs that we had as undergrads. A friend of mine from undergrad went to Cornell Law and kept her old ID.

ABSOLUTELY beautiful! you are so lucky to be accepted! I am an applicant hopeful for acceptance 2010 and taking the LSAT in June...wish me luck! I am originally from up north and I'm dying to come back for law school (after going to high school and undergrad in the SEC). Beautiful campus and ivy league education...thats hard to beat!

Officially deferring to the class of 2013. Anyone have their first seat deposit check cashed yet? My deceptively large bank balance is throwing me off...

If anyone else is a nerd like me and is interested in reading the course descriptions for next year (though we don't have much choice in our selection of classes, it's still fun to peruse the list) here ya' go:

I am not going to be able to get back to Ithaca before school starts, so I am trying to find something online and it's so daunting! Some of the places are really sketchy looking based on the pictures, and it seems like everything near collegetown/the law school is being rented out so quickly!
Good luck to everyone else!

+1 though I keep thinking, well, I do have overdraft protection, so if they cash it when I've already spent the money to go shopping...or drinking for cinco de mayo....or to pay a security depositi on an apartment or all of the above, the world won't come to an end.

I think L.L.M. orientation starts then too, a week before plain ol' J.D. starts.

LOL; I saw mass-yoga happening on that lawn when I visited...so I'm thinking sunbathing won't be a problem

Don't worry! you're not alone! i put a deposit on a place I still haven't even seen! Granted, I got someone I know to check it out and make sure it's not awful, but i'm basically moving into the unknown for a year..

I keep telling myself... "at least it's relatively close!"
But you're right about everything being rented out quickly..by mid-May, i hear most close/affordable places are basically gone.. so don't waste any time getting something.. good luck!
