I think I'm going to avoid reading LSC and 1L, for the sake of my sanity.

LSC might be helpful, but isn't 1L written by someone who went to HLS? I'm not sure how applicable it would be for UVA 1Ls.

I found it a great read on how not to take on law school: Don't neglect your wife - your sex life already sucks. Don't study 9 hours a day just so you can look good on cold calls, or for any reason, really. Don't start a study group that's full of insufferable assholes. Basic stuff, really. But a nice reminder that law school isn't worth being miserable, so drink a beer or tangy fruit juice and cheer up.

Yeah, those are some of the same things I took to heart after watching The Paper Chase, although even before watching it, I definitely did not have any intention on studying 5+ hours every day, being abstinent, and associating with assholes.

Has anyone been able to link their UVA email to a blackberry or iphone without forwarding it to your personal email? I'm guessing that b/c of the netbadge login it's not going to work to directly link it to a BB...but I might be missing something.

I opted for the gmail option and I have it linked to my iphone as a gmail account. I'm not sure how I did it, because I set it up in mac mail and when I synced my iphone, it synced the settings.

Anyone ever get this figured out? Just got an iPhone and I wasn't able to do it...
