You were in Chapel Hill, and you ate at Chipotle when you could have gone to any of the zillion awesome independent Mexican joints? Carrburritos FTW!!

Yo, did any of you ever go to fiesta grill out on 54?

On another note, I'm leaving work in two weeks and traveling to South America.
Where you going? What for? Any interesting stops?
I'm pretty much all over the place. Starting out in Chile and then either moving up to Peru and Bolivia or across to Argentina. Backpacking has been somewhat of a hobby for me.
My sister in-law just got back from backpacking in Peru. Her pictures of Machu Pichu were incredible.

I've actually been to Machu Pichu before and it was really impressive, aside from all of the tourists. It's the best if you get there really early and watch the sunrise when no one is there.

Yessss!! The one way out near White Cross, right? Oh, and don't get me started on the taco trucks that are around nowadays or Don Jose's Tienda... oh, the carnitas!
Since this is the UVA thread, I'm also thinking about Bodo's Bagels and Maharaja. Man, this is making me hungry.

To Mallard, internet is serious business.
Anyway...can we move on, respecting a.williams' call for some positivity? I'd rather be talking about Mexican food and trips to South America right now.

The goal of this thread is now for everyone to post a picture of the first beer (or if you prefer, non-alcoholic beverage) they will buy upon getting to Charlottesville this summer.

Wow, Mallard seems like quite a loser. Yet another reason to be glad I'm not going to Harvard.
