Re: Michigan 2012
I'm not sure which classes there are book awards for. Def all of the big 1L classes, and def some of the upper-level classes. But I'm not sure if it's *all* of the upper-level classes, or just the ones big enough to grade on a curve, or maybe only some of those. Anyone know?

I always thought book awards went to the highest grade in the class, regardless of size or curve used or whatever.

I'd be surprised if they were given out for seminars, though, for example.eluvium wrote:I always thought book awards went to the highest grade in the class, regardless of size or curve used or whatever.

also curious about this listserv thing. i mean i know it exists, but how can you determine who's on it? no luck with the website, other than the list they put out for last year's award ceremony.

Ughh.... 8am classes suck! And our class got stuffed with a bunch of LLM's making the classroom crowded. Not cool.

Apparently so! I wanna meet that guy. Mostly to have the chance to speak German for the first time in about a year.
Anyway, there was a Brazilian federal judge in my JJ Ks class.

Did you like how I was staring at you to get your reaction when he announced the no hat rule?

Question on supplements for 1Ls! A lot of people seem to be selling them on LawOpen. I have Property, Contracts, and Torts. Any advice on what supplements I need for these classes? Lots of people seem to be selling E&Es; don't know if I should get them. I did get the Gilbert's for property already. Thanks!

Yes. It's totally not fair. It's because I wore a Gator hat. Lord Tebow will smite him.Alexandria wrote:Did you like how I was staring at you to get your reaction when he announced the no hat rule?

Yeah, what supplement if any should I get for Contracts (I have Radin, CB is Modern law of contracts by Frier)? I feel like I need some extra help for that class, heh.

in addition:
property: exam pro by wendel(especially with krier's multiple choice.) i liked the lexisnexis understanding supplement for this too.
contracts: CHIRELSTEIN. holy crap chirelstein.
torts: glannon's E&E. abraham's forms and functions.
