Is 7:00 good, or is that too early? I don't have to be up at the crack of dawn the next day, but I know everyone else does. Please share thoughts!
7 is perfect for me. Overlook works too.
Who else will be making it out tomorrow?

Ditto. I'm running out for a wedding now, but count me in on whatever plans you guys eventually decide on (providing the timing stays about the same).

hey hey, I hate McFadden's, though the one in Boston is decent. The Overlook also has a pseudo-rooftop area if its nice, though I have never been up there.

Looks doable to me, but you guys really need to reassess your use of the term dive. Anywhere with an "executive chef" and $13 redundantly named appetizers probably doesn't qualify. Or pictures of Rachael Ray and Donny Osmond singing karaoke together. Unless when you say "dive," you just mean the walls have exposed brick!
I'll be there (with pants on).

Haha, I have been there and the place is a dive when you look at it. I live literally next door, but I think the only reason Rachael Ray was there is because she tapes her show directly across the street. Anyone going to do karaoke?
Also, someone post this on facebook, I'm too lazy to do it

I'm posting this email from Kate Cunningham in case any of you haven't received it, and are interested in on-campus housing:
Dear Admitted Student,
We are beginning the process for housing assignments. The Law School has beds in the Lincoln Center Residence (McMahon Hall), of which approximately 75 have been set aside for students who will enter this fall.
If you are interested in being considered for housing, please reply to this email. I understand that many of you may have placed your name on the housing list through the admitted student website. Unfortunately some names did not transfer correctly, and I want to ensure that everyone who wishes to be considered for housing in McMahon has equal opportunity. We anticipate offering the housing spots in early June. Housing assignments are determined by how far away a student lives from the law school. Any student that does not receive an initial spot can be placed on the wait list in case there are future openings.
Fordham University has recently acquired graduate housing at a new residence at West 58th Street in lieu of the East 81st Street apartments. For more information you can visit residential life at
http://www.fordham.edu/student_affairs/ ... tial_life/. The Admissions Office does not assign West 58th Street apartments, only the rooms in McMahon Hall.
I look forward to being in contact with you all soon regarding housing assignments.
Sincerely,
Kate Cunningham
Assistant Director of Admissions

If I get out of work at a reasonable time, I'll be there tonight.
I know a few of you know each other already. But, for those us who never met anyone here, how are we supposed to find each other at the bar?

That would be great. I don't want to leave work "early" just to hang out by myself and eavesdrop on people's conversations wondering which group the Fordham one is.
Communicate now with those who not only know what a legal education is, but can offer you worthy advice and commentary as you complete the three most educational, yet challenging years of your law related post graduate life.
