Nope, I had to work. As always.

Tell me about it. I haven't been able to attend any ASD's or visit schools during the week due to work.
Trying to make it to Iowa before the end of April.

I WDed from L&C. It was a hard one to let go considering the $$$ but it's the logical choice. At least they'll get more $$$ to hand out now.
I was particularly interested in Portland's mall.

$$$ makes logic a bit more difficult to back up.

They thanked me for letting them know so they'll be doing some sort of second round scholarship offer in April.

Whitty, you should pay a trip to Vancouver after Portland, they're so close to each other.

Portland's awfully similar to Vancouver.

Okay ... you can formally add me to the list (but with an asterisk). I think that I am sold on Iowa and will be joining some of you in the fall ... still officially holding out on word from a couple of other schools, but unless some unexpected acceptance or scholarship comes through, I am liking Iowa an awful lot …

If I visit I may never leave. Trees+the smell of rain is a big deal to me. I live in a yucky desert.

Although I have been to Iowa only once, I am pretty certain that those pics would be from Portland and Vancouver ... I was sold a couple of posts before the pictures ...
I work for a CPA Firm and am working from a large conference room in our office downtown ... the managing partner just walked in on me watching Round I of the tourney on the projecter ... I lucked out as he was a grad of Ohio State ... back to work ... I mean watching basketball ...

As crazy as this sounds, I am looking to live in the dorms (it would absolutely have to be a single, though) ... I currently own a very nice 3,000+ square foot home and would be perfectly content if I never had to clean house or do yard work another day in my life.

Sure ... so long as a single room can come available. I was told that that there is a lot of availability for doubles (but I don't want a roommate), but that single rooms were very scarce. We will see ... maybe once I really see how inexpensive housing prices are, I realize what a fool I am ... it just sounds good for the moment!

Iowa approved my disability accommodation today so I'm at 95258% roughly.

Randomly looking at the Iowa law website this morning.
Noticed this subtle change to some information on the site.
http://www.law.uiowa.edu/documents/fina ... cation.pdf
It used to specifically say Top 37.5% and is now down to 25%. Can they legitimately change this requirement after the initial offer?
I was leaning towards declining because of the restriction as it was, I'll definitely be withdrawing if this is the criteria going forward.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
