All I'm reading about is scholarships from Michigan. Not that I'm complaining. Out of curiosity, does anyone know whether:

a) Michigan is always super generous with scholarships
b) Michigan is super generous with with scholarships this cycle
c) Other top schools haven't released their scholarship info yet so that's why everyone's talking about Michigan money and not schollys from other schools??

i've read that michigan is one of the most generous in the t14. i think they are also just early this year, hence all the michigan buzz. plus they accepted a lot of people already, unlike northwestern, for example, who are taking their time.

Related to this Michigan-scholarship question, are they serious that they can't raise your award once they've made an offer? I may be getting a better offer from a peer school, and I don't want to play the scholarship game just to play it, but to make my decision easier...

And generous or not, decide for yourself: 3.98, 166/169, $45k

northwesTTTern gives more money than any school in T14 - other T14s refuse to match their financial aid (berkeley lists peer schools that does not include northwesTTTern but does include the LAW CENTERRRRRRRRRR)

Oh, and any 0Ls who go to Michigan (or will otherwise be nearby) and are interested in checking out a major Michigan Law social event are welcome. ($15 a head, but it's for a great cause-- a fellowship for summer funding for Michigan Law 1Ls doing public service in the Latino community.)

And more to the point, it's funny as shit. Seriously, one of the 2 best events of the year.

(P.S. She's shilling for it. I'm not. :D )

A., what did you think of the seminar? See why I keep coming back for more?

LOL what a dick. I'm glad someone else's presence at a law school is enough to deter you from attending it. I don't think said law school would want someone who made the decision for such a stupid reason.

Yeah, it was really good! Closest thing I've experienced in law school to real group discussion, with everyone contributing and no one annoying me. And really thought-provoking.

So you're saying there's a chance...for me. It's been only a week for me so I'll keep hoping that I get lucky.

Who cares if she's a bitch as long as she's DTF, that should compensate for it.
