If you're not joking, my confidence in my decision to ED/attend UVA has just skyrocketed.

As did mine! At least as far as Wii and N64 are concerned.

Did it this past weekend with Wii Mario Kart(with the steering wheels) then went out drinkin . . . last night we went bowling and drank like 8 pitchers of beer

Count me in on that front. In the past I'd have the occasional beer, but I'm generally not a drinker and haven't been for a few months. My ideal night is hanging out with friends and having a few drinks over cards/music/video games/good movies/whatever. I've spoken to a couple other prospective UVA students who are not drinkers, so I doubt you'll be alone in that.

UVA strikes me as a social law school full of outgoing people (who often drink) but any time you get 1000+ people together there's going to be a decent level of diversity when it comes to alcohol consumption.

I wonder if there is a disproportionate number of nondrinkers on TLS. We must be nerds.

That is exactly what I was thinking. I am not much of a drinker myself, it is good to see not everyone at UVA is.

There are a lot of people here who drink, and a lot of people who don't. Not drinking won't make you a social outcast in any way. Everyone here is really social and friendly, and could care less whether or not you drink. There are also plenty of people who go to parties, bar review, etc. and only have 1-2 drinks, and have just as much fun as those of us who have significantly more. There is always stuff going on


This place really is a blast. Everyone I've talked to couldn't wait to get back from winter break to start having fun again . . . where else in the T14 are you gonna hear that?
