Does everyone else have to sign in to NetBadge before they can view their e-mail? It's not a pain to do, but I find it weird that you have to be in the UVA network just to view e-mails.

I haven't found a workaround to that, but I just use a mail client so I don't have log myself in everytime.

why couldn't they just make it more user-friendly? ive been pretty frustrated with everything related to SIS thus far.

How long do you have to wait after paying a deposit before that works?

I put my deposit in on Saturday and got my email today.

Sealocust is spot on.

The only caveat with this solution is that your "reply-to" address will be for the appropriate account, but your actual sender's email address (which generally won't display in a summary view of email sender information, but will display in a full-view) is going to be the account you're actually sending the email from. It doesn't matter, though unless you don't want people to know the other email address or if you need to get through a strict spam filter (some spam filters will block emails with different sender and reply-to addresses).

If you use gmail, I know that you can add an address as a 'send from'. That part's easy. Just go to the 'Settings' in gmail and then 'Accounts' and it's pretty self explanatory from there.

I'd laugh, but I'd been waiting to get my UVA email since sending in my deposits in January. And the really bad part is that I wanted the email so I could join the UVA Facebook network.

Nope, if you have one, when you go through SIS and click on the email button at the top, you go through the test and everything.
