I just received my schedule for the fall. Unfortunately I don't think I met any of these professors at ASD. The only trouble with my 8 AM class is that on Thursdays I have just over a 4 hour break before my next class begins at 1:30. Built in library time, I guess.

Edit: I would have liked to have a class with Craig. I also sat in on one of her classes and it seemed like I would have enjoyed learning from her.

I talked to one of my friends who is a 2L, and she said that Rossi is awesome and Lee is brutal. Apparently she calls in abc order though, so thats a plus for anyone at the end of the alphabet.

I'm kind of disappointed about three 8 am classes!!! It will be interesting going to school and not having a job.... I'll be out of class most days before lunch. It will just be weird having all that free time (I know I will be studying, but still!). On that note, my last day at work is on Friday and I could not be happier!

hehe. I'm there at 8 three days and at 8:30 another day. My latest start-time for the day is 9:30. hehe.

My last day at work is Friday also! I agree about the weirdness of being in class instead of work. How long have you been working, if you don't mine my asking?

I just graduated december 08, so I haven't been out of school that long. I've had a couple of more "serious" jobs during undergrad, but my current job is just bs until I start school... I actually tried finding a "real job" in Tallahassee when I graduated, but I knew I was starting school in August and when I hadn't found a job by March/April, I kind of figured it would be silly to work somewhere for 4 months before I quit. I know you said you've been out of school for 9 years so I'm sure my work experience is nothing like yours, but rather just a way to pay the bills. Either way, I could not be more excited to quit!

i just took trip to chicago last weekend and had an 8am flight. the bartender asked me if i was enjoying my "breakfast merlot". i think the airport is the only place where social standards for the acceptable time of day to drink dont count. oh yeah, and doak campbell stadium.

I just graduated december 08, so I haven't been out of school that long. I've had a couple of more "serious" jobs during undergrad, but my current job is just bs until I start school... I actually tried finding a "real job" in Tallahassee when I graduated, but I knew I was starting school in August and when I hadn't found a job by March/April, I kind of figured it would be silly to work somewhere for 4 months before I quit. I know you said you've been out of school for 9 years so I'm sure my work experience is nothing like yours, but rather just a way to pay the bills. Either way, I could not be more excited to quit!

Oh mannnnn I can totally relate to the "breakfast merlot." I was sitting in first class going somewhere a few years ago, and a woman asked for a glass of chardonnay (they don't charge for drinks in first class on continental), so they unfortunately had to open a bottle of chardonnay at like 7am.....for one person. Watching any sort of alcohol be wasted is a sin, so I did my best to help.

But yeah, I HATE flying, and since there are no direct flights from NJ to tallahassee, I had to stop in west palm beach. The airplane was one of those really, really tiny prop planes that scare the hell out of me, so I camped out in one of the airport bars until boarding time. Also, it appeared as if *both* pilots were like 22 years old. I was so happy to be less-than-sober

haha, yeah, youll soon learn that there are no direct flights to tallahassee from anywhere! and theyre usually pretty expensive. it's a cute little town, but its less-than-accessible. i dont think i could have gotten on a prop plane, kudos for bravery! hating to fly + loving to travel= a problem
