I think you may have joined the undergrad one... Unless there is another USD Law 2012 group that I don't know of...pali012 wrote:Getting ready to send in my 2nd deposit. I hear on-campus housing is next to impossible to get, so looks like I'll be searching for an apartment. Coming from 2500 miles away, so I guess I'll be looking online. I'll probably be looking for roommates...joined the facebook group...

I was thinking of trying for the on campus housing until I did the math and realized it's around $1500 per month...even including internet/tv utilities that's an INSANE rate

Hey anyone who was admitted prior to the April 30 seat deposit-- have you received word on new scholarship/grant $$? They said that some monies may become available after that date, but it is based on who accepted from their initial round of schol offers. Just trying to see if they started making new award offers yet.
thanks and congrats to all in the class of 2012! See you guys in the fall!

I was accepted before the deadline, and I have not heard anything about scholarship/grants.
I tried to email the financial aid office, and the message was bounced back. Anyone else having problems?

Hey San Diego Incoming People! I'm leaving town for law school, and thought it'd be a pretty perfect match if someone coming into town for law school might be interested in renting our house. It's awesome for a couple/few law students to share, or for a family. Here's the scoop:
Beautiful 2 BR/1BA craftsman home with hardwood floors in the Cherokee Point neighborhood (in between City Heights and North Park). Detached studio with tile floors that can be used as a third bedroom, office, or artist studio. Studio opens onto a 4,500 sf organic garden with 18 young fruit trees, and ample space for vegetables and perennials. There is also a large outside patio area for dining or hanging out, a garage that can be used for storage and/or workshop, and a sizable laundry room which is connected to the studio. The house is very cute, and has great morning and afternoon light. Neighborhood is great and kid-friendly. We are 3 walkable blocks from De La Cruz Park, Cherokee Point Elementary School, and the YMCA. We are a couple minutes drive from the I-15 and the I-805, 5 minutes from downtown and 10-15 minutes from the beach.
$1750/mo; 1750 for a deposit.
PM me if you're interested!
