Did you guys get the material that you could view as pdfs? My letters were apparently dated Jan 16th, but I have not received them yet.

yup. that's because I called right as the email was sent out. heheh Good to know they make mistakes too.

Did you get the Admitted Students site? Its on there.

I did. That's what I was referencing. I was just wondering if anyone had gotten the actually hard copies. I'm a paper kind of a guy. I like to have the fancy paper and colors on a hard copy in front of me. I could always print it out, but it wouldn't be the same...sounds kinda stupid i guess haha

I got the call...well actually the message, the phone was in my pocket! Anyway has anyone any advice about housing? When should I sign on, I plan to visit in March or April....would be my first apartment, any help?

Avoid St. Paul unless its along Como ave. and also avoid any suburb if you don't have a car.

thanks. i hope to get to the march 6-7th asw, but I haven't received any info about it either. I suppose I should start apt hunting then too, huh?

Hey! I have yet to figure out the Facebook group, too. I requested to join and haven't been accepted yet. In due time, hopefully!

ditto. requested but haven't been accepted yet. I know one person who requested a month or so ago and was accepted.

I'm still doing the March 6th-7th visit, but let us know how your visit goes though! You excited? Only two more weeks till your visit! Three more weeks can not come soon enough for me.

To tell you the truth UMN was a long shot... I was super suprised to get a call today. I am going to have to take a closer look.

Status changes this morning to decision letter sent. I know I have probably been rejected, but just for the sake of a fool's hope, how soon after do they make the phone calls? If I was accepted could I expect a phone call later in the day?

Yeah, also got the "decision" status change. I'm expecting rejection, too. Garinold, the way I figure is (a) I've been rejected everywhere else so why not Minn, and (b) Why would they bother inviting me to join 2012 via snail mail and not call, considering ASW is this weekend?
