Everything looks nice and new. Anyone interested in checking it out with me? The problem - the lease starts June 1st. I imagine it wouldn't be hard to get some grad students/summer students to sublet for 2 months.

$625 per bedroom.

Send me a PM for more info..

I checked on LSN and it seems like they haven't given out any money. Any idea when are they suppose to start doing so?

They give out aid after you complete needaccess. You can always call their financial aid office if you have specific questions.

I just RSVP for the ASW on April 3rd. Any others on here coming? Apparently there are events from Thursday night until Saturday evening.

I'm coming up. Are you requesting accommodation from diversity groups (April 3rd is the diversity weekend ASD)?

I didn't know I had to. I'm actually going up that weekend because of the diversity weekend but I assumed there were just more activities added to the regular program.

Quoted from the e-mail:
Each of these student groups will be contacting their respective potential members about attending this weekend and answering any questions you have
about the law school. If you plan to attend please give the Admissions Office a call at 607-255-5141 and let us know. Then we'll give your name to the appropriate student organization so they can contact you about housing and your planned arrival time.

It seems like they should be contacting us, probably in the next couple of weeks. I already booked a hotel room but would definitely like to meet some LALSA members...

What up Class of 2012? I am now part of your exclusive group!

To add to the answers for the question given below, Cornell has already begun offering financial aid. During the ASD on this Friday, I stopped by FinAid and received my offer. I would recommend to anyone that has had their FinAid application complete for a week or more to call and check their status.

During the ASD, they said that you will be notified that your application is complete by getting your offer. I got mine so early only because I stopped by the office; otherwise, it would have been mailed to me. They are fairly quick at making offers, about a 1-2 week turnaround.

Props to Cornell for their anniversary envelopes. Who is visiting on the 27th? Is this ASD thing worth going to?

Does the financial aid offer specifially show what is merit based and what is need based?

For what it's worth I know my Dean's scholarship will be coming sometime next week.
