You can officially add me to the list ... in off of the wait list today ... I'll be visiting South Bend this weekend in search of housing. It's my understanding that there is a wait list for on-campus graduate housing, but I'll put in an application nonetheless.

Thank you both ubermensch and darkknight2000 ... unfortunately, I cannot join the facebook page until I officially leave work or am let go (which is very unlikely). I am really hoping that I am conveinantly "let go" in late August ... 2 months of severance on top of 2 months of accrued vacation would be great!

Sigh, did they give you any money? I had a dream this morning that I was officially, and finally, denied any schollys.

No money for me ... I sent a request, but was denied. At least the response was very prompt and courteous. I did retake the LSAT again in June.

I believe that I am the only regular-decision admit with no $$. Probably due to my ridiculously low lsat score. I should be praising Touchdown Jesus for even getting in, not whining about money.

That sucks. I'm sorry. Does South Bend observe Eastern Standard Daylight Savings time or Central Daylight Savings time?

I got in off the waitlist just recently and I'm pretty sure now I'll be attending ND with you guys this year!

How should I go about finding housing? Is the info for that in the acceptance packet (I haven't received it yet)? Should I arrange a trip to South Bend ASAP?

Were you the one who started the post deciding between Notre Dame and UC Davis? If so, you made a great choice!

Regarding housing, there is info on the acceptance packet. However, you should arrange a trip to South Bend before August and make arrangements for finding a roomate as soon as you can (assuming you need/want one).

Btw, congrats on your decision and welcome aboard the class of 2012! Be sure to check out our facebook group when you get a chance.

Yeah that was me. I made that thread before I even got in to ND just in case I did, and once I found out I did get accepted I bumped the thread up again. Thanks for the advice on housing and I just joined the facebook group too. I'm the one who just posted on the wall about getting in off the waitlist hahaha. Any future fellow classmates feel free to friend me!

I will officially be attending Notre Dame this fall. After having received email acceptance on Tuesday, I just received my official acceptance package in the mail today and will be searching for housing this weekend.

Anybody ready for college football? I have seen in a number of polls ND cracking the T25.

Smoyf, I am glad to see that you'll likely be attending in the fall as well!

i seriously cannot wait for some college football action. one of my best friends from undergrad is going to michigan law, and im really looking forward to that one. irish rock the big house, led by three td's from golden tate. you heard it here first.

Oh yes! Despite graduating from USC, I will be cheering for the Irish! In all honesty, I am nearly as excited about the opening game against Nevada as I am for the first day of classes ...

I've got two tickets to the game in Ann Arbor ... I would love to go up with a group that weekend!

I still hold season tickets at USC. As soon as I was accepted off of the wait list and made it official that I would be attending ND, I swapped two of my UCLA @ USC tickets for two ND @ Michigan tickets with a ticket broker that I have frequently worked with.
