Objection and I also are living off campus and will be hosting at our place -- though its always great to have multiple places to go! =)AZJenna wrote:Hey everyone! I've been a forum lurker for awhile, but I wanted to introduce myself. I'm from AZ, although I went to UG in DC, so I'm at least somewhat prepared for the cold (I know Boston will be worse than DC). I will be living in an off-campus apartment 5 minutes from campus, and I would love to host a pre-orientation get together. I know someone was saying that they were planning to put something together, so if you need a location I'm definitely down.
Also, just found out that I'm in section 5... we need a facebook group!
Look forward to meeting you all

Yeah, I haven't seen anything. I did notice that the professor who led Section V last year is on leave this year...

I've been fearing this school thing for the past few weeks but I'm excited again. Score.

I think there are stalls, but I can't be sure. I am going by that map on the housing website, so who knows how reliable it is. It looks like there are sets of 3 to 4 showers/sinks/toilets. Don't take my word though!
I think the communal bathrooms are going to be a big problem. We are all likely to have classes in the morning at least 3 or 4 times a week, so everyone will be waking up around the same time. Sounds like mayhem.

Just go on myhls and look under academic life and then search for course websites. WHen you find the class, you will also see the name of the professor on the right,AZJenna wrote:Does anyone know a way to figure out who our professors are going to be?

Is everyone else signed up for a winter term class- problem solving? I was under the assumption that we didn't HAVE to do a winter term class, but maybe I was wrong.

Hey Folks,
Just ran across this thread and got nostalgic... I'm a 2L.
Two pieces of info: The classes everyone gets first semester are CivPro, Contracts, and LegReg. The rest vary across sections (Torts, LegReg, Property, and Crim).
Don't go by professors and section leaders from last year. These move around a lot, as far as I can tell.
PM if I can answer any specific questions.

I don't want to second guess you because I'm not really certain but it appears as though I do not have Contracts...anyglen wrote:Hey Folks,

Interesting. I'm pretty sure last year that every section started with contracts. But perhaps they've changed, or I got it wrong. Either eminently possible.treple wrote: I don't want to second guess you because I'm not really certain but it appears as though I do not have Contracts...
Sigh, there goes the credibility tho...

In SECTION 2, we have Ks, Civ Pro, Property, Crim, and LRW. Problem solving is winter term. Spring is Torts and Leg Reg.

WTF is with the section 5 orgy that seems to be happening? Come on section 1 - represent.

Hey fivers, join the facebook group for our section! There are only three of us in there and it's kind of lonely (though the people in there are pretty much awesome). Just go to the main HLS facebook group and follow the link from there.
