I'm in Section 2, assuming I am reading this correctly. Anyone with me?

section 2 as well... it is the number after our course name right?

Where does it say the section? There is a 3 after my classes, so I assume that means section 3, but I haven't seen "Section 3" stated anywhere.

Yup, that states the section. We are classmates! To my knowledge, the sections also mean we are going to be together during all orientation events, meet with the professor heading our section, and have the same class schedule. We are going to see each other a lot, a whole lot.

For some reason, I think our schedules will be under the documentation tab but they aren't up yet.

Haha, well then nice to meet you (sort of

). I look forward to spending an unhealthy amount of time with you and the rest of section two.

The pixels they requested for the ID skewed my picture, making it relatively narrow and tall. Did that happen to anyone else?

Do we know how they make section assignments anyway? I mean, is it a more nuanced "I want a diversity of opinion and experience" process or is it more like a throwing names in the air and catching them procedure?

Clearly it's a 1-7 scale with a direct positive correlation to attractiveness.

Mine ended up looking like a mugshot, but I'm too lazy to submit another picture.

Section 1 is the master-race of sections.
Also, through a weird twist of fate, I have been to the Sotheby's event before. (I used to work at Sotheby's, and I crashed the event to obtain free beer.) The average dress is blazer and slacks. And, while I'm opting for suit-no-tie, shirt and slacks would suffice.
See you all there!

I've been a long time lurker, first time poster. Milestone! I am getting pretty excited about this fall, especially after reading your enthusiastic posts.
I found something recently and I have no idea if this has been posted before, but I'd figured a link wouldn't hurt just in case. These are pictures of a room in the Gropius Complex. It looks incredibly small considering the one in the pics is 10 by 12 and most of the rooms (including mine) are 8 by 10, but I can't complain with the price.

By the way, I can't wait to meet you guys!
Well actually the smallest rooms are 8X12. It's not a huge difference, but I'll take the extra 2 ft in length.
Type 1 176 units 8ft x 12ft $6,020 $669
And about the bathrooms- is there only one bathroom per floor or are there stalls??

The fact there might only be one toilet per floor never occurred to me... I'm sure there are stalls. But if not,

Hey everyone! I've been a forum lurker for awhile, but I wanted to introduce myself. I'm from AZ, although I went to UG in DC, so I'm at least somewhat prepared for the cold (I know Boston will be worse than DC). I will be living in an off-campus apartment 5 minutes from campus, and I would love to host a pre-orientation get together. I know someone was saying that they were planning to put something together, so if you need a location I'm definitely down.
Also, just found out that I'm in section 5... we need a facebook group!
Look forward to meeting you all

Does anyone know a way to figure out who our professors are going to be?

I tried but I don't think the 1L classes are up on the course lising webpage yet. If you find them, however, make sure to let us know!
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
