ugh, seriously. One of my main criteria for picking a school was where I thought I would find the fewest number of douchebags. Scrolling through some of the other 2012 class threads and comparing it to this one, I've definitely made the right choice.

To veer off topic a bit: Does anybody else find themselves responding defensively when they see people from the UVA '12 thread posting elsewhere? I just found two places where somebody had disagreed/mocked something a person from this thread said, and I found myself charging in for defense almost subconsciously, lol.

lol, I saw that. All I did was post about criticizing gunners in my blog, and someone went on this useless rant, so I had to whip out Admiral Ackbar. Thanks for the support!

The mention of Admiral Ackbar (by the way- awesome, Cavalier) peaked my curiosity there and I second the charge in for defense thing. As far as I'm concerned, you can criticize gunners all you want! ugh, sometimes people get on my neeeervvvvvvessss

Oh...heelll...yeah. I did this as well (rolled a Rogue) just before going to the ASD on the 13th. The fact that Diablo III is coming out during my law school career is legitimately bothering me.

It seems like there's two definitions of "gunner." There's the douchebag who raises his hand ten times every class just to state his opinion, ask stupid questions, and hear himself talk, and then there's the person who is quiet and studies non-stop so that he can make law review and clerk for SCOTUS. The former type really bothers me, but I have nothing against the latter type.
