Sentinal, I believe I have the Property E&E. I won't need it yet, so you should borrow it.sentinal5656 wrote:heather87 wrote:CrazyLawStudent wrote:Well crap, I'll be studying for a final on my birthday. Dec. birthdays are no fun!
Probably more fun than those of you taking Contracts and Property in the same semester will have though. Yikes!
That would be me
Me too. But is that a really bad thing? I have no idea what these classes entail...

Re: Fordham Law School Class of 2012
All students are required to enter here to complete the Health eU on-line Insurance Registration Process. During this process, you will be asked to either provide information on your current medical insurance coverage, purchase the Fordham sponsored Student Insurance Plan, or complete a brief opinion survey. (Note: you will be re-directed to a secure website). Information regarding this coverage is available at the Office of International Students at (718) 817-3145 or (212) 636-6270. All other students are strongly encouraged to have health insurance coverage. The University makes available a reasonably priced additional accident and sickness plan through a private insurance company. Registered students should receive an application in the mail mid-August. Additional insurance applications are available at both the Rose Hill and Lincoln Center campuses.CrazyLawStudent wrote:Next question, does anybody know anything about school health insurance? Looked into that at all yet?

Seems a bit jumbled but it looks as if they will be sending us information soon about the whole process.

TLS is like a balm for my soul. Okay, not really, but it is pretty helpful in general.sentinal5656 wrote:I have my section number and my schedule. Anything else cool that we can find out before we really are suppose to lol? (this is why i like TLS)

I've been looking for the legal process syllabus and orientation schedules but I don't think they are posted yet. It's just as well I really should finish reading A Case of a Lifetime and One L anyway.sentinal5656 wrote:I have my section number and my schedule. Just wondering if anybody's gotten any confirmation from HESC regarding Grad PLUS yet? It's not on my HESC "view loan status" page and my Fordham stuff doesn't reflect any Grad PLUS, but I'm 99% it went through because I have the saved e-MPN PDF on my desktop. I'm assuming it's just gonna take a little more time, but I'm starting to get nervous. Anyone already get a confirmation?

And I'm not worried about taking Contracts and Property at the same time. Why are others?
Galobi, nothing from Grad Plus yet. I believe the lender sends confirmation, not HESC. Fordham will have to process the loan first. They're behind and I and others have been told that all of our loans will show up on the next (hopefully) accurate bill, which they should send out soon.

They told me to call IT (718 817 3999 or 718 871 3999)
I had no problem reaching them and the people I spoke to were very friendly
The phone number should be one of the two; if you cantr each them call the main number and ask for the 718 IT number! Good luck!
Thanks, I'll give them a call tomorrow. So much to do, so little time.

I called HESC a few weeks ago and they told me my grad plus money had been approved and that they were simple waiting for Fordham to certify the loan and tell them when to release the money. At this point, I would suggest calling HESC to make sure they have your money ready to go that way you know all you are waiting on is for Fordham's Financial Aid department to get its act together.galobi wrote:Just wondering if anybody's gotten any confirmation from HESC regarding Grad PLUS yet? WL -> IN for PT as of this Monday!
I have been running around doing paperwork all week. Has anyone had any luck with getting immunization records forwarded over from their undergrad school?

I was thinking of trying this, too, since my mom doesn't have all my records. Do you know which department usually handles such things?

That said, I just talked to my mom, and she says she doesn't have all my immunization records. FIT might still have copies on file. We don't need "official" immunization records, do we?I really hope that faxing works.
Found the quote I was looking for. I am in pretty much the same situation as you and don't know if my mom has all of my immunization records. Did you have any luck getting the records forwarded over from undergrad?
Thanks!

Thanks so much! I just took care of my transcript, so things should be good to go. Honestly, I don't know how I'm going to make it until the 10th. It's less than two weeks, but it feels like eternity.palmettoru wrote:Thank you! I may try calling the registrar and health services from my undergrad tomorrow. List of where to find cheaper/used books (LinkRemoved) by class and section. Includes the full title, ISBN, and where to find it-Amazon, Half, and more. (Sorry for spamming, but hopefully this is useful).
For the immunizations, I just walked into my UG's Student Health Services, gave them the form, and they sent it no charge.

So I just called the health services dept from my undergrad, and they are going to fax a copy over to me. Hopefully this works, since Fordham has their own form to fill out.

Lovely first assignment for Legal Process:
Read New York Rules of Professional Conduct (Effective April 1, 2009) Rule 1.6 and comments (HANDOUT, pp 3-12) and focus on whether a lawyer can or should disclose the location of the bodies of persons whom his client murdered;

Can someone clarify where you can find your oasis FIDN? I was going through the last few pages of the thread and couldn't find it. Is it in my.fordham.edu anywhere? Thanks!

When you're logged into my.fordham.edu, click on the student tab and then click on registration status. Your FIDN should be at the right hand side of the screen, towards the top. It should begin with an A and have 8 digits: AXXXXXXXX.geoanthem wrote:Can someone clarify where you can find your oasis FIDN?
