C'mon... If I'm available and not trapsing around the coast with my family, I'll be there. It'll be fun! Consider it one final hurrah before the pain of school begins!yagrish wrote:that's sounds awesome. If I weren't so shy I'd go

Oh come on. None of us bite. I'm shy too. But we're all great!yagrish wrote:that's sounds awesome. If I weren't so shy I'd go
One last hurrah? The 22nd is just (preliminarily) the official shindig. From ~Aug 17-~Aug 27th will be constant hurrahs.C'mon... If I'm available and not trapsing around the coast with my family, I'll be there. It'll be fun! Consider it one final hurrah before the pain of school begins!
So even if some of you guys miss the 22nd (although you should try not to), there will be more opportunities!

So shitting on the carpet and puking on the toilet seats ARE allowed?Objection wrote:This, minus the bitch part.treple wrote:Anyone in Boston from August 15th on is invited to our place to chill and drink with bar drinking to commence periodically. P.S. Objection is a bitch.
Treple and I will be your hosts. Don't shit on the toilet seats and don't puke on the carpets are the two major rules.
Otherwise, 15th-28th our place is open to whoever. 22nd we might have an "official" party...maybe even turn it into a TLS get together. We'll see.
Trying to get some people from LSU up which is why I'm planning so early.
Literally right across the street from the law school so distance is no excuse.
I'm there.

Hi guys! After a very long and drawn out process (and a lot of me being ridiculous and acting like a spoiled baby), I decided to go to Harvard after getting in off the waitlist. I'm excited to meet everyone in the fall!

So, as of June 12, HLS 2012 thread is 60+ pages long.
The HLS 2011 thread maxed out at 6 pages...
What do you think this says about our class, lol.
I choose to see it as we're all interesting and friendly!

I am shocked and appalled by this behavior.
If you don't drink, obviously you lied when you told Harvard that you went to undergrad!

See, in my head, I'm imagining Zac Efron say all of this... It's rather amusing.
BTW, has everyone already signed for their gradplus loans? If not, when were y'all planning on doing it? I think they have to be in by the end of the month to count towards our July bill, right?

I think I've done it, but HLS' computer systems refuse to send confirmation emails for a lot of things.iagolives wrote:See, in my head, I'm imagining Zac Efron say all of this... It's rather amusing.

And you can easily imagine how Zach Effron talks...? Hm.

Re: Harvard Class of 2012
I've been looking at Stafford loans lately. If we borrow directly from Harvard then the rate is 6.8% and there is a .5% origination fee. If we borrow from Discover then there are no fees and the rate can be reduced to 6.55% with auto-payments. That being said, is there any reason to still borrow directly from Harvard?

bYu. Also I'm woefully innocent and naive so I have no idea what BJU stands for...um...just don't tell me if it's something bad and I'll continue to play along in my little happy Mormon world haha.

The sad thing is, Brigham Young was my second guess, but I wasn't positive about whether they enforced a Mormon ethic on campus.laurathenerd wrote:excelsiorcaelo wrote:... BJU stands for Bob Jones University. BJ is also an abbreviation of the term "blow job," which refers to fellatio (i.e., oral sex performed on a male). There is nothing bad about blow jobs, but Bob Jones University is a twisted mockery of an educational institution, so I apologize if I have brought you undue discomfort by mentioning it.
You're not doing a mission, then?
