People wear OSU and MSU shirts here too. I think they occasionally get some snide remarks but it's not really a big deal.

Do any of the 2L and 3L students in this thread have any recommendations for supplements? I'll be a summer starter and I wanted to know if I should be buying E&Es and/or hornbooks before I get to school. I have Clark for Torts and Croley for Civ pro.

I swear, I'm not a gunner! Promise!

JAG, I'll give you a bunch of torts outlines for Clark.

The E&Es are good for both IMO although I don't know anything about Croley.

Oh, I had Croley for Civ Pro. I have an amazing and huge outline for him I'd be happy to share that I got from someone from the year before me who won the Book Award (best person in class). It was super helpful. It's like.... way too big for an outline... but it's like having notes from someone who paid super close attention. I have other advice I would give you not on the message board.

I think I'll buy some Michigan Law apparel but I will definitely not be wearing it outside of Ann Arbor. I would feel really awkward if anyone yelled "Go Blue!" to me on the street, as I've heard happens quite often.

I already wear my Michigan Law shirts here in SF sometimes. I do get Go Blue! shouts, and it is goddamn awesome!

As an English/History major, I've thought about the JD/MBA, as I could certainly use a little more business knowledge.

Well if they were undergrads, rightfully so. Who wears another school's apparel as an undergraduate?
If they were law students...what were you doing in our quad in the first place? Hogging our reading room tables no doubt...

It really doesn't make sense to say that a professor is "hard" or "easy" for 1L classes, since the curve pretty much evens everything out. In fact, you better hope you have a hard prof. The curve will be wider.

That said, Clark is an amazing professor. In terms of fall starters, I don't envy people who have CivPro with Cooper. The summer starters have JJ White for Contracts... yeah have fun with that. he's probably going to be your most terrifying professor in class.

IJKL has the best fuckin' schedule next year.

For TORTS, Crunchtime cannot be matched.

Get Glannons for Civ Pro. Both the regular one and the multiple choice one.
