Yep. I'll actually be a bit late probably. I hope they don't kick me out for it.JoshHK wrote:what's up fellow fordham TLSers? anyone going to the AEP thing? starts tonight...

Has anyone been able to get financial aid on the phone? Every time I call it goes to voicemail, and the woman who responds to my emails never gives me complete answers to my questions. I'm so frustrated!!! Does anyone have a direct number for a senior financial aid administrator? SOS!

Call the main financial aid office in the Bronx at 718-817-5069. They may keep you on hold for a while but will eventually answer all your questions. Just don't let them shoo you off. Tell them that the ls financial aid office cannot see your complete file because of their new system, which is exactly what is going on.Ris84 wrote:Has anyone been able to get financial aid on the phone? Lady gets sentenced to life in prison based on a single witness's highly questionable identification of her as having been at a gas station the day the gas attendant was murdered. This is a page turner.OperaSoprano wrote:I don't have my copy yet. What's upsetting?silenziatori wrote:After reading the first 8 pages of Case of a Lifetime, my blood is boiling.

Haha, yeah, I just finished it. It's quite unsettling. Guess criminal defense isn't for me!silenziatori wrote:After reading the first 8 pages of Case of a Lifetime, my blood is boiling.

Just got the Intro to the Study of Law book. Definitely not a page turner. Still wish this book didn't cost so much, but I can see that the use of many different journal articles upped its price.

Rejected from BU waitlist. That really leaves BC as the only thing that I would potentially consider over Fordham.

You're lucky! They don't even answer my e-mails and I still don't have my tuition bill!!Ris84 wrote:Has anyone been able to get financial aid on the phone? I accidentally called financial aid instead of my super a few days ago and they answered on one ring! Unfortunately it was a waste of an answer because I didn't need to talk to them. Try right when the office opens?Ris84 wrote:Has anyone been able to get financial aid on the phone? I also only get voicemail, and they still haven't returned my calls. It's like pulling teeth with that email person, but she/he does eventually respond. I'm pretty sure they don't like me thoughascremer wrote:You're lucky! Case of a Lifetime is a great read. I'm quite thankful for that. It's very serious, thought-provoking stuff. I can see why it was chosen for Orientation.
I wish they'd post the Legal Process syllabus so I can intersperse my narrative reading with the dryer stuff...

Thanks! I didn't find a course schedule because I'm apparently not registered, but I did find out that I am in Section 5.ag123 wrote:i know i haven't posted in here pretty much ever.... i'm one of those onlookers i guess, but i just found a course schedule on my.fordham.edu. not sure if any of you have seen it yet. here's the instructions: http://www.fordham.edu/images/portal_ch ... hedule.pdf

FT.
The sched looks a little weird to me:
Torts (Conk) Mon 10:30-12:20, Wed 10:30-11:50, Thu 9:30-10:50
Property (Macey) Tue 9:30-10:50, Wed 2-3:50, Fri 11:30-12:50
Criminal (Marcus) Tue 2-2:50, Thu 2-3:50
Writing & Research Wed 9-9:50, Fri 9-10:50
Doesn't seem too bad though... and I don't know anything about the professors
