You'll be happy to know that UVA dominated in Day 1 of the softball tournament.

Mens Blue, Mens Gold, Co-Rec Blue, and Co-Rec Gold all won in absolute routs.

Yeah, as he mentioned it specifically as being useful for someone before they entered law school. Plus he seemed like an amazing prof so I have no problem with him getting some of my $$$.

Co-rec orange won against Villanova

Co-rec blue 30, NYU 0

Co-rec gold 15, Fordham 0 (after 1 inning)

Mens gold, Mens blue, Co-rec gold, Co-rec blue all advanced undefeated in pod play to the single elimination bracket. Championship games are 3 PM tomorrow after hours of elimination games.

Fordham has had a very impressive showing of coolness. New England School of Law not so much.

A guy on Florida Coastal (one of the annual powerhouses with UVA and PSU) hit an amazing 10 HRs in the HR derby, I believe that was probably the winner.

For the first time in tournament history, neither championship game had a UVA team. Also, for the first time since 1994 we didn't win either tournament. First time since 2003 Mens Gold didn't win the championship. Of the top 4 UVA teams, 3 were knocked out in the semifinals, 1 was knocked out in the quarterfinals.

Appalachian School of Law is rolling over Maryland in the co-rec finals.
Florida Coastal was leading Washington and Lee 2-0 in the mens finals.

As for questions, UVa softball has a co-rec division which is most of the teams including all of the section teams and there's a smaller mens league. 1 of the Syracuse teams I believe made the quarterfinals and lost to Mens Gold so unclear if you can make fun of your friend.
