I was wondering if any of the rising 2Ls have any insider information of the following professors, I've tried the ratemyprofessor route but can't seem to find anything:

Summers (Contracts), Weigold (Lawyering), Dorf (Con Law), Wendel (Torts)

I didnt have any of them, but I heard that Summers terrifies most people. A few people I know really liked him, but most did not at all. I know one of your TAs for Weigold, and your TA is awesome. She said she really liked Weigold too.

I hear Dorf is tough-- but thats just rumor pretty much. And I really know nothing about Wendel.

Ok, if you want more tips on professors -- here are my thoughts on the first year profs I had.

Civ Pro (fall) Rossi -- great teacher, terrified me at first but loved him eventually. DONT miss class. Everything he says write down. When you get to the test its simply a matter of transferring what you wrote down. He doesn't like you to ramble about issues that ARENT actually there. I missed 2 days of class and seriously those two days were really important I realized later. He has great stories too. And whoever gets called on the first day-- don't feel too bad-- no one knows what is going on.

I've only used those microphones once, and that was for a video conference call during a lawyering class. Otherwise, you just speak up.

Oh it's happening, come hell or really ridiculously, I'm talking biblical, high water (The chapter house is up on the hill so the water would have to be VERY high indeed).

After the colossal failure that was last weekend, if we can't make it work this saturday, I'm just going to give up on meeting anyone all together.

For anyone who is living in Hughes Hall next year, do you remember if the rooms had overhead lights? I'm trying to remember if they do or not so that I can decide whether or not I should bring some sort of big lamp.

I'm kind of annoyed that the Noyes Center (gym closest to me) doesn't open til 7:00 AM during the school year. Doesn't that seem kind of late for a gym?

Section A 4evr!

I've been in town for a month now, and it's so awesome I'm suspicious, even with all the rain--countryside is beautiful, people are friendly, food and drink are good, game animals wander freely through the streets--it's heaven. Even ran into MBW out at Ithaca bakery, because it's a small world here in the magical land of Ithaca.

I'm up for drinks at the Chapter House anytime! Think MattK is in town this week too, if anyone met him at the first ASW.
