I've gotten mosquito bites on my fingertips many a time. I know how much itchy fingertips suck.

Ahhh, I seriously can't be off TLS for two hours. My phone died, so I couldn't check the thread until I got home.

Add another to the UWS column. If we get approved, our dream brownstone is waiting, six blocks north of campus. Shockingly, we can sort of afford it, if we eat lentils and rice all semester.

How is the housing search coming? I know a couple of people were still looking.

Are any people still looking for roommates? I am hoping to live with a Fordham law student but am feeling pretty flexible about location. While it would be great to live within walking distance to school, if the difference in rent is big and a nice place can be found in Cobble Hill or Northern Park Slope (so basically on top of the 2 train for an easy commute to school), I would love to do that. Is anyone interested in living in those neighborhoods to save some money? I bet we could get a beautiful place for under 1000 each.

have you guys bought the book for legal process?

and also, in case you have contacted the admissions office, registrar,student services or any dept at fordham law, has anyone received any response? before accepting the offer, i basically talked on the phone with someone from the admissions twice a day for a week and now they dont respond to my emails for weeks! am i the only one?

Haven't gotten the book for legal process. I don't know why it isn't readily available on Amazon (at least the past editions, I know the new one may not have yet been released). You would think they'd sell more copies that way, and that that would be a good thing.

That's weird re the administration. I've gotten someone each time I've called and have had my questions answered. I can try for you if it's nothing personal?

I have a sneaky suspicion that the book is largely out of stock and the publisher is going back for a second print-run, which would explain why Lexis is the only large online retailer that has it "available." No word back from them on whether it actually is available (read their shipping details and it says something along the lines of "will ship when in stock"). I'll probably call them tonight to confirm that.

Oh, yes! She isn't on here much, though. She's also a friend of a friend.

We can't get toasted until we move in, though, which should be in two to three weeks.

I just discovered another pro to living within walking distance of Fordham: the chances of me going through another train derailment will be substantially reduced. And I was all happy about getting out of work early too
