I think it's fine. You can check that you have enrolled by trying to re-enroll.

It won't let you.

If you can register for your e-mail it means they got your deposit. It seems like they've sent no confirmations, which, to be honest, is a bit weird. Ahh well, anyway, welcome aboard to all the newcomers.

That's a great idea, I'm in!

(Also, I vote against 'Columbians.' Kinda makes us sound like a drug cartel.)

strangely enough, i think they already asigned it. I went to the link and clicked "accept" for two screens, then looked up my UID on their "find people" section, and I used that to log into the place where one sets the password for the email. I set the password and logged in. I don't have any messages.

I don't know Columbs sounds like the unit of electrical charge, which, if you're in to physics and sounding like units of measurement, is pretty awesome.

What is the link you went to, where you clicked accept? And what is the "find people" section?

How specific were you guys on the housing app? It's only one page and they don't ask you too many questions, did you put your priorities (price, space, location) in the 500 word box? Any other info worth including?

Go to: http://www.law.columbia.edu/law_school/ ... ingstudent then click "activating your email account." Then "Click here to activate your email account." Following that you click "Accept" and then "accept" again. Here you will find the set password page. What you to set this is your UNI. to look up your uni, you click "look up uni" and enter your name on the box. Then you enter your name again in "find people." You should find your name, school, email and UNI. Then you go back to the place where you set the password, set the password (letters and non letters), enter some personal information and log in.

I don't know what's good to include. Because, for me, the main priority was living with the particular person I choose to live with, I put nothing else down besides that.

If you do it after college graduations I'm down.

Deposited.

Also, housing form submitted (with 497 characters of comments).

Wow.

I never saw this outcome when I started applying - that's a little bit of a positive statement and a negative statement, to be fair.

But now, I'm really excited 8)

Hey guys, I eventually decided on a slightly less notorious school in southern Manhattan.

I was just curious why the people here chose CLS ultimately..

Please don't take my comments as confrontational, just as pure curiosity.

$$, mostly. CLS more than doubled my offer from NYU. I was also impressed by the campus, as well as the law school's total domination of V5 and V10.

I also vote that we call ourselves "Columbians." It does make us sound like a drug cartel, which means we sound dangerous and sort of badass. If we are all being honest, we are a bunch of enormous wimps in real life, so we might as well enjoy being perceived as being badass--if only for a little while.

Not $ for me. But, Columbia had a much better program for what I wanted to do too and some interesting interdisciplinary opportunities. Also, because of my multidisciplinary interests, it helps to have a "name" that means more outside Law. Morningside Heights is more my style... Finally, I'm also a little bit on the older side, and Columbia skews a bit older than NYU so I thought I might feel more comfortable.

But, NYU was a great school, and if I was younger + more focused on areas where it's stronger, I wouldn't have hesitated to go there instead.

I like Columbians, which is much better than my idea of Columbos:
