Duke Flub-Up
When I began my Duke app on LSAC, I chose the JD/MBA option, thinking it meant JD OR MBA. It warned me beforehand that I couldn't change my application after choosing my app track. I don't want to get an MBA, I have no GMAT score, so I guess I can't apply to Duke anymore?

Can't you delete the application and start over?texasgirl22 wrote:When I began my Duke app on LSAC, I chose the JD/MBA option, thinking it meant JD OR MBA. Yeah, as long as you unassign any LORs that you've already assigned, you should be able to delete the application under Active Schools.

Call Duke and explain. You can probably submit some kind of paper application.texasgirl22 wrote:Ugh I just deleted the school and then added it again and it the only option I can click is the JD/MBA. damnit. i had a fee waiver too. thanks anyway yall.

Try calling LSAC. They always answer the phone and might be able to help.

Re: Duke Flub-Up
Kind of necro bamping, but I was wondering if anyone else here also went ahead and just sent the JD/MBA app after not being able to change.
LSAC was not helpful in this instance, as when I called them, they told me that it WAS the correct application and that I just had to mark a box in the application to make it JD only and ignore all the MBA questions.
When I submitted it, a dude at Duke sent me an email saying he thought I'd submitted the wrong application and if I emailed him back saying I wanted to be JD only, he'd re-tag my application as JD only and it would just go on through as normal. Since he emailed me offering to change it, I'm assuming fail-LSAC application is not auto-ding.
Apparently there were quite a few other people who made this error, too.
