I was for a second, but then I remembered that I got a WNEC Law fee waiver last month.
Haha. You one-upper!

As I was typing this, I just got an email from Southwestern (??). Looks like today is a big day for admissions emails and/or waivers. Too bad none of the ones I want :-p.

Toledo is probably doing worse than Cleveland and they can't even compare to some metropolitan areas in California with 15+% unemployment. And downtown Cleveland isn't really that bad, although SSD got hit very badly by the recession.

Northeast Ohio is a nightmare. Everyone there should follow my lead and leave. "You know what, guys? We tried. It didn't work out. Let's all move."

Did anyone else get a hidden fee waiver from Columbia? Somebody earlier said they did but nobody else seemed to confirm it.

Unfortunately the Southwestern e-mail doesn't even include a self esteem boosting fee waiver. At least I got that calender though, in case I want to drive 4 hours to Boston to pick up a brochure!!!

OMG you're right! I didn't even read it closely enough to notice there was no waiver! Hey, maybe I'll go to the Columbia University event to inquire about SW Law. Now THAT would be interesting.

UCLA waiver today (sept 14) that's pretty cool, first waiver that I've got for a school I would ever seriously consider attending.

For all of you who received the UCLA waiver, have you taken the LSAT yet?

I just got one from SMU but nothing else today other than the Southwestern e-mail.

edit: The waiver I got from SMU was because I emailed and asked for one so I don't think it necessarily means they are sending out a mass mailing today.

I got Chicago and NYU, but no Columbia. Slightly below median LSAT, above 75th GPA.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
