got (unsolicited) waivers from UVA, Columbia and UCLA as well as a few others I didn't really care about -- I want to email Penn and ask for one but can't find an email (just a form for need-based on their website). Can anyone help?

It's after you press "submit." It'll tell you whether it's been waived via CRS. :)

Got Cardozo waiver by email, and had Washington U, and Chicago hidden fee waivers waiting. Not bad.

Me too! Finally! But what gives with NYU? I really don't want to pay for any school beyond HYS.

Your numbers are actually right in NYU territory and a little below HYS territory, so I think this is a little pompous.

haha - well my lsat is well above NYU's 75th and I realize HYS is more of a stretch (hence the willingness to pay for them) but thanks for the reprimand =)

Do you have to actually be submitting the app or can you cancel after that? I want to see if I have on but I am not ready to apply.
Also WTF is the point of a fee waiver at that point. If someone is already applying then why waive the fee?

Poops. Emailed Michigan Law about 4 or 5 hours ago but nothing yet. Everyone else claimed a response in 1 or 2 hours. CLEARLY THEY HATE ME.

What other T14's have responded positively to solicitations for waivers?

Just got my first T20 fee waiver (hidden) from Northwestern! That was my most expensive app, so it's twice as exciting.

...your lsat is 2 points above their 75th and your GPA right at their 25th. You certainly have a great chance, but you're not an auto-admit.

Yeah, I just found a hidden one from them as well, which was very exciting. #1 because it's $100, #2 because I really like them and was stressed that I hadn't gotten an email waiver.

Also got the Penn waiver in the mail today.

Thank you ... I found hidden fee waivers :)

One more question... how do I apply for a fee waiver or can I ? because I just checked and American only grants fee waivers if you apply for it :/

Are you sure there's no fee waiver? Mine said I should apply for the Faculty Scholarship and it did have an "apply online and we'll waive your $60 fee!" but it was pretty buried. I had to read it a couple times to be sure it was there.
