Yeah, boo. They said "We are unable to offer you a merit-based fee waiver, but hope that you will still decide to apply to Georgetown." I should not apply just to spite them.Dwaterman86 wrote: Boo Georgetown, send a request to a T3 for a self-esteem boost. That's how I got my Franklin Pierce waiver.

They wouldn't give me one either, don't feel bad. Screw Georgetown. Who would even want to go there anyway? Such a TTT. I saw footage of multitudes of people descending on Washington D.C. and thought it was another Million Man March. Turned out to be the GULC students returning from summer break.NancyBotwin wrote:doinmybest wrote:Just got Georgetown via e-mailThey just responded to my request saying no, they won't give me one.

We'll see. If I get enough waivers from other schools, I might still apply. But if I have to pay for too many, they're getting cut.Helmholtz wrote:That's my plan.NancyBotwin wrote:Yeah, boo. Re: 2009-2010 Fee Waiver Tracker Thread
OK so I want to apply to UTexas early decision and I received the LSAC fee waiver---but strangely they don't waive the fee like almost every other school. How do I apply for the Texas fee waiver without paying anything upfront (other than the report fee)? Is that possible? If not then I may not apply to Texas ED.

I'm a little worried about the level of emotional distress I feel after being declined for fee waivers.

If someone wants to see my "Yale fee waiver" pm me and i'll show you the print screen.
How long does LSAC take to show your fee waivers on the "All schools" section? Or are some of them hidden but they tell you about them? Because my UCLA/Georgetown/UT still say the fee amount next to them.

I think some of them just don't update that part. I've had one from W&M since my June score, but it still shows the amount - until I hit submit and check it that way.JollyGreenGiant wrote:If someone wants to see my "Yale fee waiver" pm me and i'll show you the print screen.

my plan as well. Gtown is pretty much the only place that wouldn't give me a waiver, besides NYU and Chicago.Helmholtz wrote:That's my plan.NancyBotwin wrote:Yeah, boo. Thanks for the email. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer you a merit-based fee waiver, but hope that you will still decide to apply to Georgetown.

Yes, NYU and Chicago both give out waiversqcnc wrote:Has anyone gotten a Texas fee waiver?
And any ideas on why I didn't get a Vanderbilt waiver with a 171 and a 3.9 (when I got Penn, Columbia, Duke, UVA, etc.)?
Also, I've seen some folks on other websites with NYU waivers - do they actually give merit waivers out? Same with Chicago?

Has anyone in the 172-175 range gotten CLS fee waivers yet this batch? It's supposed to be solely based on the LSAT, right?

Vanderbilt, BU and UCLA today. I asked for BU.
UTexas Houston sent a fee waiver just the other day, are you maybe confusing the good school for another one?

Is anyone else annoyed by UCLA's long, arcane application?
