Just checked for a few hidden fee waivers today and turns out I have,

Michigan
Penn
Georgetown
Northwestern

Anyone know of other schools that tend to give out hidden fee waivers??

EDIT: I checked Columbia already and it turns out I had no Hidden fee waiver there...

I took the test in June and didn't get a BU waiver, but they did give me one in response to my email request. It's worth a shot. I also succeeded in getting an waiver from Georgetown by emailing.
Numbers please!
There's no need to make demands. I was just trying to point out that these schools both responded by giving me a waiver. I imagine if they don't like your numbers, you won't get one, but it might be worth emailing to find out.

HAHAHAHA

I just got an email from Quinnipiac encouraging for me to apply for a scholarship. Great. Only this is how the email started:
Dear {Prefix} Smith:
Smith is not my last name, I changed it, but it really did say {Prefix}. Whoops.

 Ok, probably should have been followed by a question mark "?!" but I have e-mailed and was waiting for a response and wondering what to expect. Got 'em now though, so thanks for your help.

Well, Columbia dinged my fee waiver request. I have no clue what their requirements are, considering I'm above median on their LSAT and above 75% on their GPA numbers.

Was turned down at both Columbia and NYU today. Hopefully they send out another batch of waivers soon.

Did you get this bit?

We provide application fee waivers only to those prospective students who agreed to participate in the Candidate Referral Service of The Law School Data Assembly Service and who meet certain other criteria as determined by us

Wonder what the other criteria are?

This was my email:

Dear GeePee,

Thank you for your interest in Columbia Law School.

Only those applicants who selected to participate in LSAC's Candidate
Referral Service are eligible for a merit-based fee waiver. You will be
contacted by us if you are selected for such a fee waiver. Otherwise, we
have attached our need-based fee waiver application.

Best wishes,

Columbia Law School

I got turned down by both too, but ended up getting the CRS from Columbia later. No such luck from NYU.

I wish I could give it to you. I was going to apply there early in the app cycle, but eventually went for some other safeties that actually gave me waivers. I even e-mailed Vandy asking them if they could renew last year's waiver and they said no. Screw those guys.

It's still $12. That is, unless you can get your LSAC reporting fee waived.

got vandy waiver just now, but feeling like crap after emory basically told me matter of factly that their median LSAT was now 166 and my 164 should either take a hike or retake in dec. I know LSP was wrong when it considered me an auto admit at Emory.. but I didn't know quite HOW wrong. :(

If you really want to go to Vandy or Emory, I'd suggest re-taking. Unless your GPA is a 4.0, then maybe you have an outside shot. Vandy and Emory are trying to move up in the ranks, meaning that they are pushing for LSAT/GPA scores near their 75%. This means a 169 at Vandy, e.g.

I decided today to retake.. I just didn't want to have to. I did pretty much every LG that exists and have taken all the most recent tests. UGH.
