I have W&M already from my old score, don't really care about WUSTL, just got UVA, and REALLY want BU. Mind if I ask your numbers?

To the UVA waiver recipients:

Do I have any shot at receiving a waiver with a 3.83/163? Any recipients out there with similar numbers?

My LSAT would be nicer, too, if I didn't misread a rule and drop 4 questions. :-( I thought I aced the games, too (and I did, outside of that one haha).

I'm retaking, but I figured I'd get on my apps now, anyway.

Hyper has similar numbers and got one. So I think there's hope for you. :)

Awww, I'm sorry about that, buddy. I guess what they say about the fourth time being the charm isn't true. :(

You're right. Let's get back to fee waiver discussion.

Send them a request I'm pretty sure they'll give you one.

Ouch, that sucks. :( But yes, good idea to get them in now - and at least you can retake that. I was a 3rd time taker, finally hit 170, but I still can't retake my crappy GPA. Oh well. Hopefully some schools will show some splitter love to me.

176 but no fee waivers. What's up with that? Seriously does anyone know why this might happen?

It must have to do with the fact that you only just registered with LSDAS.

Give it a couple of days.

Yep. So far it looks like people have gotten UVA and Duke, and maybe some others.

Don't even need to say that much, just give them your name, stats and L# from LSAC saying that you're asking for a fee waiver, many will grant them. Good luck!

Also, I got one from U. Miami unsolicited yesterday, my first post-Sept LSAT.

I have 3.88/177 and registered with LSDAS a month ago but only have one from UVA. Can't be the registeration IMO :(

Hmmm... I don't know what to say, then! Haha...

Maybe your undergrad plays a role?...

UVA and USC both today, first post-LSAT fee waivers! Definitely using the UVA one, even if it's a coin toss. =D Worth it for $12.

I am retaking the LSAT in Dec (150 last Oct & cancelled in Sept-admin. problems) & I am trying to figure out if I should go ahead & submit my apps & update my score in Jan

I wanted to be able to apply early to increase my chance of getting scholarships, but I dont want to be denied before I get my new score...will they consider my new score & update offers?

**The fee waiver is another consideration-I would like to wait to get some waivers (i dont think the email waivers from my last lsat score are still valid) but I dont know if it would be best to go ahead & apply b/c I guess I would have to wait until Jan before I get any waivers & I was hoping to get my apps in this yr to be considered for scholarships, etc..

Any advice is greatly appreciated!! Thanks, Carmen

Also got UVA today. I guess I'll add it to the list now.

EDIT: Actually not sure if I want to give them the time of day to YP me, so maybe not...

Good.

I never heard the 4th time was the charm, but there is a certain charm to a choke being unredeemable, and likely not really a choke, since if you didn't get it within 4 times...

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
