What is the best admissions consulting firm?
I've been trying to figure out which law school admissions consulting firm has a proven track record of delivering strong services. First, they tend to be costly and a lot of firms don't even offer refunds so I don't want to risk wasting money there. If anyone has a recommendation of service that has worked or is working for them, please let me know. And if there are any particular firms i should stay away from. I've heard of Admission Consultants which have awful reviews and Veritas Prep.

for those of you who have responded, did you use these firms? was there anything that you felt they lacked or especially helped with?
I'm thinking of hiring a consultant as well, but definitely can't spend too much money on one either.

just start a thread with your question and you'll get free advice that is better and more personalized than what some firm can do for you.revrocksteady wrote:for those of you who have responded, did you use these firms? was there anything that you felt they lacked or especially helped with?

Seriously, wouldn't you rather have the advice of an army of T14 admitted students or some person who is reading off a handbook created to address questions of "typical applicants?"

with sites like this there is a wealth of knowledge to help out. just seeing options and what other people have done.

+1 because people here will give you accurate results from specific situations which you can judge as to whether yours is similar or not. and companies may skew the the data like LSs do to give the company a boost (which obviously wouldn't happen here)mallard wrote:http://www.top-law-schools.com

There is no resource in the world like TLS. I humbly submit that I owe the favorable outcome of my cycle to this board.
