IILJ scholars program

Post by Dr_Nex » Thu Jan 15, 2009 11:24 pm

OMG. What a joke. No chance unless you went to Yale, Harvard, Stanford, Oxford or Cambridge; are published; and/or have a Masters/PhD.

Hey Ted Kardos is from the University of Missouri... Still hope. Did you go to Africa and personally save thousands of kids from starvation last year or teach english to underprivileged kids with no legs who are blind?

Uh.. I visited Canada? Oh, and also Tijuana, Mexico? I guess buying a shitload of $0.99 beers indirectly helped underprivileged kids and stuff.

Yeah, I had thought of applying to this until I saw the kind of people that are in the program. How do people have the time to get all that crap done?
