Hmm I thought you would say that.. I guess its about time to get working on that diversity statement.YCrevolution wrote:Stiff is relative, but I'd say there's at least a semi-wall in the 3.7 to 3.8 range for most of HYSCC.tkgrrett wrote:As far as the walls go.. have u noticed any indication of a stiff 3.7 line at any of HYSCC?? Im a little below a 3.7 right now and really stuck on whether to send in apps early or wait til after fall grades for a few schools.

Are the walls more noticeable in terms of GPA? I noticed little difference as I switched between possible LSAT scores as compared to 2.6. In fact in some ways this one seems more optimistic.

Re: Law School Predictor: Version 3.0 "The" Thread
Maybe I'm just tired, but there seems to be a disconnect between the LSP readings and the LSN results for EDing at UVA... Where LSN suggests that 3.0+ and 170+ equals admit, LSP says something very different. Anyone able to explain why this is or if this is a mistake from an otherwise excellent tool? (Thanks YC!)

Do you know if there is a way to separate the schools by region?

Anyone know when the part-time predictor will be updated?

This may be a silly question... but where do the updated numbers come from?

I am still unable to get into version 3.0. It still says 2.6 and has the old USN&WR rankings. Is there some trick to getting into the newer version of law school predictor?

YC, thanks again for all your hard work. Could you share your reasoning behind your strategy?YCrevolution wrote:Here was my suggested strategy (posted a few months back):YCrevolution wrote:That's not a good strategy unless you truly can't afford app fees (in which case, many give fee waivers).iamcutdacheck wrote:Get Law School Predictor Swag

If you’re applying to five (5) schools, I recommend:
- One (1) Admit
- One (1) Strong Consider
- Two (2) Consider
- One (1) Weak Consider
- Zero (0) Deny
If you’re applying to ten (10) schools, I recommend:
- One (1) Admit
- Two (2) Strong Consider
- Three (3) Consider
- Three (3) Weak Consider
- One (1) Deny
If you’re applying to twenty (20) schools, I recommend:
- Three (3) Admit
- Five (5) Strong Consider
- Five (5) Consider
- Five (5) Weak Consider
- Two (2) Deny
And if you're a URM and/or extreme splitter, I'd be a bit more aggressive than what's suggested above.
