Calling admissions

Post by belle11 » Wed Mar 03, 2021 12:40 pm

I’m sure this sort of question has been asked before, so sorry in advance. I applied to Cornell in early November, and have been under the first stage of review since 12/11. I’ve heard nothing so far, not even an interview. I’m wondering if it would be appropriate to call admissions and check in, or if I should just stay patient?

Patience, but wouldn’t hurt to check in via email and tactfully “reemphasize” your “serious interest” in Cornell Law. If you call, they’ll likely tell you what you already know (i.e., your application is under review), which could make things awkward.
