Does taking extra years in college put you out of the running at HYS/T6?

I took a part-time course load during the first few years of my degree because I was working and had family obligations. Thinking of taking an extra year or more with a full-time course load to raise GPA.

If it depends on the number of years, how many extra years is too many?

Just to clarify: Have you already received a bachelor's degree? If you have, then your plan to use extra courses to boost your GPA won't work.

Assuming you haven't, then no, taking extra time in school because you were initially going part-time will not affect your application in the slightest. If your schedule looks weird (e.g. missing semesters, excessive withdrawals, etc.), you may want to write an addendum to explain, but the actual time spent in school still won't have an effect.
