Course withdrawal

Post by djang12345 » Fri Dec 11, 2020 1:27 pm

Hello everyone,

I know that law schools really care about your gpa, but I was wondering how "W" impacts my chances at T3 schools. To give you context:
It is a "W" for a 1 credit physical education course that's graded only on a pass/fail basis. Was forced to withdraw after accidentally going over the allowed number of absences. Should I write an explanation for this or should I just not care about this?

A short addendum might make sense if this is a "W/F" (a withdrawal that counted as a failing grade). Otherwise, no. A non-punitive withdrawal, especially from a fluff course, is totally normal and doesn't warrant an addendum.
