Tutor--for practice tests review

Post by barbaraparis » Tue Aug 25, 2020 3:49 pm

Hello! I am testing in the low 160s, and would like a tutor to review specific questions on practice tests that I'm taking. I find that talking it out is extremely helpful to my learning. I am interested specifically in LG hybrid game help, LR few question types, and RC in general as it is a hit or miss for me. Please comment below with your price, availability, and email/phone number and I will reach out to you. I am looking for once or twice a week for an hour or two per session.

Thank you very much!

Hi, there! Congrats on PTing in the 160s - I'm more than happy to help you crack the 170s, if you're game!

I've been tutoring the LSAT for almost a year and have officially taken all three "versions" of the test (paper, tablet, and Flex). My clients have all reached their official score goals, most of which are in the 170s. I specialize in logic games and reading comprehension (yes - getting to all the questions and getting them all right *can* be done), and I also provide all resources and materials, free of charge. As passionate tutor, I will ask a lot of you during the session and outside the session. I will not give you answers, and I will challenge you to explain your reasoning during blind review. Lastly, we will focus *intensely* on conditioning. Conditioning is, in my opinion, a gamechanger, and is the biggest determinant of test-day performance. You want your PTs to match your performance on test day? Let's focus on conditioning.

I do weekly sessions via Zoom, but you can technically set your own pace. There is no hourly minimum, and my rate is $100/hour. DM me if you're interested, and regardless of what happens, I wish you the best with your LSAT journey!

Hi Chief--I'm in a similar boat barbaraparis and am interested in learning more about your tutoring background and seeing if we'd be a good fit to work together on logic games. I can't DM yet because I'm new to the forum, but if you DM me your email, I'll reach out that way.

Best of luck to you, barbaraparis! I'm with you in finding these games to be killer.
