Study Abroad Grades and LSAC Forum

Hi guys,

I am an international doing a Bachelor's degree at Oxford University, and I will be doing a Study Abroad in France next school year, for one semester. Does anyone know if I later have to submit transcripts from the French university to LSAC, for my J.D. application? I know there have already been several threads on the matter of "Study Abroad Grades and LSAC" in this forum, but those are mostly cases of American students from American schools doing Study Abroad, and I'm not sure what I need to do, given that my case is different.

If you're getting credit for your study abroad at Oxford, then it'll show up on your transcript from Oxford

then yes, you need to submit a transcript to LSAC

I have a similar question,

I studied abroad for a semester, and the courses, grades, and credits show up on my transcript from my home university. However, the grades received are not calculated into my GPA. Will LSAC count them?

Yeah, if it's on your transcript for credit and a grade it will basically always be counted by LSAC
