hey everyone,
I received a phone call from the director of admissions the other day to go over the terms for ED and to ask me if i had any questions about the law school. I gauged info on reddit and it seems to be a positive sign, people that posted about receiving a call were granted admission. Im just curious if anyone received a call and then was rejected shortly after. Pretty anxious awaiting my decision and the long weekend isn't helping!

Re: Emory ED call
The answer is that this is really, really early in the cycle, even for ED admissions decisions.
The answer to the question you didn't ask is that you shouldn't apply ED anywhere without a substantial guaranteed scholarship. $45,000 is not substantial. I'd strongly recommend having your application changed to a regular decision app so that you have options.

Re: Emory ED call
Thanks for the response. Im not entirely sure how what you said was relevant to the question I asked. Maybe I didnt make it clear, but I just wanted to know if anyone that applied ED from previous cycles has received the call to know if its a formality or a sign of interest.. Anyhow, it seems that by you suggesting I change it to RD for more scholarship leverage that you think I might have more than a chance, but to be honest I am a reverse splitter and emory is my first choice so I'd really be happy with the minimum scholarship!cavalier1138 wrote:The answer is that this is really, really early in the cycle, even for ED admissions decisions.
