Scholarship increase after deposit deadline

I just got an email and phone call from a school that I was very interested in. The seat deposit deadline has passed, and I did not make deposit because I was not happy their offer. However, they have now asked what level of funding it will take for me to enroll. Since both my LSAT and GPA are above the median, I requested full tuition. I am waiting on a response. Has anyone else had an experience like this?
