I'm at a bit of a crossroad: my transcript GPA is a 3.78, and because of a lot of A+s my LSAC GPA is a 3.9.
Now, if I retake a course this summer that I originally got a B in, and get an A, my transcript GPA will be a 3.81 (my LSAC GPA will remain around the same).
Since my LSAC GPA will remain the same, is it worth retaking? Is the money/time spent on that class worth the boost to get my transcript GPA into the 3.8 territory a lot of law schools require, or is a 3.9 LSAC gpa enough to get me by? I.e. is there a major difference between applying with a transcript 3.78 LSAC 3.9 vs. Transcript 3.81 and LSAC 3.9?
(And does anyone know if the GPA disclosures of law school come from LSAC's GPAs or original transcripts? can't seem to find this answer anywhere)
Looking for any advice or what you would do in this situation
