Can I still send the diversity statement after I already submitted the apps?

I chose not to write the diversity statement because my personal statement discusses a part of my diversity aspect but decided to write one.
Can I still send one or will schools not accept it since my file is already under review?

You can still send it. Under review doesn't literally mean someone is looking at it or anything, and you could be under review for months with multiple date changes.
