Applying late december- how long will it take for me to get a decision from T-13s Forum

Subject explains it all. Now that I’ve submitted apps Friday 12/22 i just want an idea for how long T-13s take to give decisions? I am still waiting on one reccomendation( the professor promised me it will be done by January 1st) so i am just nervous that having a complete file this late will put me at a disadvantage since i officially am applying late. Will I not find out admissions decisions till April/May?

Unfortunately it’s not really possible to say. Typically though, the most highly qualified and the least qualified hear first; those close to the line tend to end up waiting the longest, either to hear back at all, or to hear about whether they get in off the waitlist.

Im pretty sure i am borderline (URM with high gpa but average lsat) so this is disappointing for sure since i am already anxious about the wait and I’ve just applied. Thanks guys!

I don't have any guidance for you but you're not alone! I'm also a URM with an okay LSAT and good GPA who just recently applied, we can hang out in the spectator seats together for a bit.
