Options with new LSAT?

Post by Tycho_Brohey » Sat Dec 23, 2017 12:17 am

I have a 3.8x GPA and scored a 170 on the Dec. test. I have apps out to Texas, WUSTL, Vanderbilt, and 4 other schools in the 20-30 range. I more recently submitted apps to Cornell, UVA, Duke, and Michigan.

Is there anything to be said for my chances at the schools in the T13? What about money? I’m really hoping for minimal debt, but I’m curious if that could be possible for me at a T13.

I’ve only heard back from Vanderbilt so far (in, no money decisions have gone out from them to my knowledge). The slight majority of my apps didn’t go out until after the beginning of December though, so I’m not expecting to have heard from those yet.

You will get T13 $$$
Add Northwestern, Penn, NYU, Chicago, and Berkeley if you want west coast (doesn't look like you do).

Thanks! I’m not sure how crazy my wife will be about me shooting a few more apps out, but those suggestions you have seem like a good idea.

And yes, I have 0 interest of practicing in california!

You'd be doing yourself a disservice if you didn't hit at least those 4 (don't bother with Berkeley). You have prime numbers for them. Good luck!
