I graduated from a top 10 liberal arts college with a degree in biochemistry 4 years ago.
I graduated with a 2.99 GPA, my LSAC GPA is a 3.01 with a community college course I took in high school.
This is how my GPA breaks down.
year 1- 3.5
year 2- 3.4
year 3- 2.7
year 4- 2.4
My last three semesters my grades tanked because of the upper level science courses I took. Senior year I took 8 upper level science courses and got a bunch of C's.
My GPA excluding science courses is about a 3.6.
Should I explain my severe downward trend due to science courses I took?

Re: Do i need to write a GPA addendum?
No. A GPA addendum is for something outside of one's control, such as illness or something like that. Simply taking harder classes is not an excuse that will make you look any better than you do without an addendum. Further, an addendum is for things the admissions committee wouldn't be able to figure out from your application, which, they have your transcript and they can see your classes.
