Whoops

Post by april_ludgate » Sun Nov 05, 2017 6:26 pm

(Don't quote I guess?) Just submitted all my apps save Stanford and Yale on Friday, and realized today that on the few that asked for all employment history I forgot a short stint teaching a two-week class last year. Do I email admissions? Is this a big deal?

You can email to amend, but either way it's really not a big deal.

Thanks! Decided to email them just to be safe.

I have a similar question.

I can’t remember the dates I was employed at a minimum wage job during high school (7 years ago). I was probably employed there for about 6 months. I called the HR department and their files don’t go back that far. Would it look bad to omit this position from the employment section?

You could just guesstimate (e.g. "Summer-Fall 2010").
