Resume Q: is this an extracurricular or work experience? Forum

Hi everyone,

I have a minor resume formatting question. I'm fresh out of undergrad and don't have any work experience other than internships and my current job. In college, I edited/wrote for the student newspaper. Should I list that under work experience, since I was paid for some of it? Or should I list the newspaper stuff under a separate section titled "extracurriculars"? When applying to jobs I've just listed all of these things under work experience, but I am not sure which option will make the most sense to admissions people.
