"Interrupted Education" & Addendum

Post by cubswin16 » Sun Oct 08, 2017 9:02 pm

So in the applications for a lot of schools they ask if your education was interrupted for any period of time to explain it. I'm kind of wondering what they mean by interrupted? I have two semesters that were retroactively withdrawn in two different years of undergrad for two different reasons, but I did go to school during that time but then had those semesters withdrawn afterwards due to poor performance because of outside factors. I'm already including this info in a GPA addendum, but was wondering if this needed to be disclosed in the Education section as well?

Does your transcript still show the semesters but with Ws?

You'll need to do some sort of addendum, but the "interrupted education" prompt is usually for when you weren't actually attending classes, not when you retroactively withdrew.
